PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately evaluating a friction performance of the vulcanized rubber.SOLUTION: First, a test piece 14 having a first specimen 2 having a first measurement surface 6, a second specimen 4 having a second measurement surface 8, a first thin film 10, a second thin film 12, and a test surface 16 is prepared. The first specimen 2 and the second specimen 4 are made of the vulcanized rubbers of the same compositions. The first thin film 10 and the second thin film 12 are characterized in that the refraction index or the transparency are changed by the load. Next, the first measurement surface 6 is treated for the friction. The first thin film 10 is arranged and loaded between the first measurement surface 6 and the test surface 16 after being treated for the friction. The second thin film 12 is arranged and loaded between the second measurement surface 8 and the test surface 16. Subsequently, the real contact surface S1 per unit area of the first measurement surface 6 and the real contact surface S2 per unit area of the second measurement surface 8 are comparatively calculated from the areas of the change areas of the first thin film 10 and the second thin film 12. Finally, the friction performance of the vulcanized rubber is evaluated as the index of real contact surfaces S1 and S2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】加硫ゴムの摩擦性能を精度よく評価するための方法の提供。【解決手段】初めに、第一測定面6を有する第一供試体2、第二測定面8を有する第二供試体4、第一薄膜10、第二薄膜12及び試験面16を備えた試験体14を準備する。第一供試体2及び第二供試体4は、同じ配合の加硫ゴムからなる。第一薄膜10及び第二薄膜12は、荷重により屈折率又は透明度が変化する特性を有する。次に、第一測定面6を摩擦処理する。第一薄膜10を、摩擦処理後の第一測定面6と試験面16との間に設置して荷重する。第二薄膜12を、第二測定面8と試験面16との間に設置して荷重する。続いて、第一薄膜10及び第二薄膜12の変化領域の面積から、第一測定面6の単位面積当たりの実接触面積S1と、第二測定面8の単位面積当たりの実接触面積S2とを算出する。最後に、実接触面積S1及びS2を指標として、加硫ゴムの摩擦性能を評価する。【選択図】図3
