PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition having excellent tear strength.SOLUTION: The rubber composition contains: a rubber component; and an additive containing a tetrazine compound represented by general formula (1) [where Xand Xare the same or different and each represent an optionally substituted heterocyclic group] or a salt thereof. A styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber is contained in an amount of 30 pts.mass or more in 100 pts.mass of the rubber component. The styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber is obtained by mixing a solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber and an emulsion-polymerized styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber at a mass ratio of 10-90:90-10.SELECTED DRAWING: None
