PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a proper yaw moment to a vehicle in accordance with tire characteristics.SOLUTION: A deflection control device (17) executes deflection control for deflecting an own vehicle (1) via a braking force difference between left and right wheels. The deflection control device comprises estimation means (172) for estimating characteristics of the own vehicle based on a longitudinal sliding ratio upon a 4-wheel braking which imparts braking force to the left and right front wheels and the left and right rear wheels of the own vehicle or a longitudinal sliding ratio upon a one-wheel braking which imparts braking force to one of the left and right front wheels and at least one of the rear wheels own vehicle, and control means (172 and 173) for executing the deflection control based on the estimated tire characteristics.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
