PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat rotating device which enables cost reduction by reduction of the number of components, achieves improvement of the quality of shaft peripheral components, and can prevent damage of the shaft peripheral components and breakage of a cable while achieving downsizing and weight reduction.SOLUTION: A seat rotating device includes: a motor 51; a drive member 60 which rotates an underframe 11 of a seat 10; a release member 70 which releases the seat 10 restrained by a lock mechanism 40; and a switch member 80 which selectively transmits output of the motor 51 to the drive member 60 or the release member 70. The switch member 80 is pivotally supported between the drive member 60 and the release member 70 so that a rotation force can be transmitted to a rotary shaft 53 by a spline and is provided so as to move axially to a restraint release position where the switch member 80 engages with the release member 70 to integrally rotate therewith and a rotation drive position where the switch member 80 engages with the drive member 60 to integrally rotate therewith.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
