PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition with low-temperature embrittlement resistance and grip performance improved in a balanced manner, a tire tread prepared with the rubber composition, and a pneumatic tire having the tire tread.SOLUTION: A rubber composition contains a rubber component, at least 90 mass% of which is composed of styrene-butadiene rubber and butadiene rubber, and also contains, based on the rubber component 100 pts.mass, liquid styrene-butadiene rubber of at least 5 pts.mass, and coumarone indene resin with a softening point of 110°C-130°C. The content of butadiene rubber is 2.0-6.0 pts.mass relative to the liquid styrene-butadiene rubber 1 pts.mass, and the content of coumarone indene resin with a softening point of 110°C-130°C is also 2.0-6.0 pts.mass relative to the liquid styrene-butadiene rubber 1 pts.mass.SELECTED DRAWING: None
