PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in cost required for a battery and to improve travel efficiency by reducing exchange frequency of the battery.SOLUTION: A battery locomotive includes: a power feeding trolley 3 which can travel in a tunnel T where trolley lines 2 are arranged in a power feeding section K to be a partial section, brings a collector 31 into contact with the trolley lines 2, and feeds power; a housing part which can house the power feeding trolley 3; a lateral moving device 5 which movably supports the power feeding trolley 3 between a housing position housed in the housing part and a power feeding position P1 where the collector 31 can be in contact with the trolley line 2; and a battery charged with power fed by the power feeding trolley 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
