PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily predict the time of replacing a wire rope before a rope diameter actually drops to or below a permissible value.SOLUTION: During maintenance inspection, an optical rope diameter measuring device is provided to a prescribed position along the path of a wire rope, the optical rope diameter measuring device is operated in a test mode to measure rope diameters at many measuring points, and a diameter reduction rate at each measuring point is calculated, and stored as a first diameter reduction rate (S2 to S6). During next maintenance inspection, a rope diameter is similarly measured at each measuring point, and a diameter reduction rate is calculated as a second diameter reduction rate (S7 to S11). The points of time when a reduction rate reaches a prescribed threshold value are predicted for the respective measuring points on the basis of the two diameter reduction rates, and the earliest reaching point of time among the points of time is displayed as a rope replacing time (S12 to S14).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】ロープ径が実際に許容値以下に減少する前に、ワイヤロープを交換すべき時期を容易に予測できるようにする。【解決手段】保守点検時に、ワイヤロープの経路に沿った所定位置に光学式のロープ径測定装置を設け、試験モードで走行させながら、多数の測定点におけるロープ径を測定し、各測定点での減径率を求め、第1減径率として記憶する(S2〜S6)。次の保守点検時に、同様に各測定点におけるロープ径を測定し、第2減径率として減径率を求める(S7〜S11)。これら2つの減径率から、各測定点について、減径率が所定の閾値に達する時期を予測し、その中で、最も早く到来する時期を、ロープ交換時期として表示する(S12〜S14)。【選択図】図4
