PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power reception system capable of receiving power in a non-contact manner, even when the power to be supplied to a load and a power reception device is insufficient, and to provide a non-contact power supply system, an unmanned carrier, and a power reception method.SOLUTION: A power reception system includes a power reception device (a power reception coil unit 4 and a power reception unit 5) for receiving power transmitted in a non-contact manner, a capacitor 61 for storing power outputted from the power reception device, and supplying the power thus stored to an unmanned carrier 7 and the power reception device, and a standby power source 53 capable of supplying power to the power reception device in place of the capacitor 61, when the amount of charge thereof goes below a prescribed level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
