PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To so suppress a force required for driving a harpoon into space debris in order to attach a device having a space debris removal function to the space debris and a reaction force generated when driving the harpoon as to be small.SOLUTION: A harpoon 41', which is driven into a surface Y of debris X, is provided with a first harpoon part 43 of a large diameter and a second harpoon part 44 of a small diameter which is accommodated in a storage part 43b of the first harpoon part. When the harpoon 41' is driven into a portion which is not reinforced by a rib Z of the surface Y, the whole of the harpoon 41' penetrates the surface Y and is locked on a reverse side. Further, when the harpoon 41' collides with a portion which is reinforced by the rib Z of the surface Y, the second harpoon part 44, which has already penetrated the surface Y, is caused to be jumped out by inertia from the storage part 43b of the first harpoon part 43 which stopped on the surface Y, and caused to penetrate the surface Y and to be locked on the reverse side. Alternatively, the second harpoon part 44, which is driven into the debris X, is connected to the debris X by friction and metal bond with the surface Y, or mechanical lock.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12

    【課題】スペースデブリ除去機能を有する装置をスペースデブリに取り付けるために銛をスペースデブリに打ち込む際に必要な力や、銛を打ち込む際に発生する反力を小さく抑える。【解決手段】デブリXの表面Yに打ち込む銛41′に、大径の第1銛部43とその収容部43bに収容した細径の第2銛部44とを設け、表面YのリブZで補強されていない部分に銛41′が打ち込まれた場合は、銛41′の全体が表面Yを突き抜けて裏側に係止されるようにした。また、表面YのリブZで補強された部分に銛41′が衝突した場合は、表面Yを既に突き破っている第2銛部44を、表面Yで止まった第1銛部43の収容部43bから慣性により飛び出させ、表面Yを突き抜けさせて裏側に係止させるようにした。あるいは、デブリXに打ち込まれた第2銛部44が表面Yとの摩擦や金属結合、あるいは機械的係止によりデブリXに連結されるようにした。【選択図】図12
