PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting method of a filler pipe which reduces the number of components and reduces cost and labor.SOLUTION: In a method of mounting a tip end part 21 of a filler pipe 20 on an outer wall 2 of a hollow molding 1, a filler pipe mounting part 10 is arranged on the hollow molding 1, and the filler pipe mounting part 10 includes a filler pipe welding surface 12 and a filler pipe insertion hole 11. A flange part 24, which protrudes in a ring shape in a width direction of an outer surface and has a cross sectional shape projecting in a lateral U-shape, is formed on the tip end part 21 of the filler pipe 20. A surface of the flange part 24 opposite to the filler pipe welding surface 12 is heated, the heated flange part 24 is pressed and welded to the filler pipe welding surface 12, inner surfaces of upper and lower walls of the flange part 24 are closely attached to each other and are welded, and the tip end part 21 of the filler pipe 20 is mounted on the outer wall 2 of the hollow molding 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】部品点数が少なく、コストと手間を削減したフィラーパイプの取付方法を提供する。【解決手段】中空成形品1の外壁2にフィラーパイプ20の先端部21を取付ける方法であって、中空成形品1にフィラーパイプ取付部10を設け、フィラーパイプ取付部10は、フィラーパイプ溶着面12とフィラーパイプ挿入孔11を設ける。フィラーパイプ20の先端部21に、外面の幅方向にリング状に張り出し、断面形状が横U字形で突出するフランジ部24を形成する。フランジ部24のフィラーパイプ溶着面12と対向する面を加熱し、加熱したフランジ部24をフィラーパイプ溶着面12に押圧して溶着するとともに、フランジ部24の上下の壁の内面同士を密着させて溶着して、中空成形品1の外壁2にフィラーパイプ20の先端部21を取付ける。【選択図】図2
