PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a lighting mode of an illumination device according to the presence/absence of people crossing the street.SOLUTION: An illumination control device 110 detects entry to a crossing zone L and exit from the crossing zone L, and determines whether the number of people remaining in the crossing zone L is one or more, which is calculated on the basis of the number of people detected to have entered the crossing zone L and the number of people detected to have exited from the crossing zone L. When determining that the number of remaining people is one or more, the illumination control device 110 changes a lighting mode of an illumination device 120. The illumination control device 110 thus enables the driver of a vehicle to grasp the presence of people in the crossing zone L even when traffic lights are not installed in the crossing zone L, and can ensure the safety of people in the crossing zone L.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】横断者の有無に応じて照明装置の点灯形態を変更すること。【解決手段】照明制御装置110は、横断帯Lへの進入と横断帯Lからの退出とを検出し、横断帯Lへの進入を検出した人数と横断帯Lからの退出を検出した人数とに基づいて算出される横断帯Lでの残留人数が1以上であるか否かを判定する。照明制御装置110は、残留人数が1以上であると判定した場合、照明装置120の点灯形態を変更する。これにより、照明制御装置110は、横断帯Lに信号機が設置されなくても、車両のドライバーに、その横断帯L上の人の存在を把握させることができ、横断帯L上の人の安全の確保を図ることができる。【選択図】図1
