PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trolley wire that is suitable for size-down reduction and simplification of overhead wire, and to provide an overhead wire including the trolley wire.SOLUTION: In one embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a trolley wire composed of a copper alloy wire in which tin is contained in an amount of 0.15 mass% or more and 0.2 mass% or less and oxygen in an amount of 0.03 mass% or more and 0.05 mass% or less and the balance is composed of copper and inevitable impurities, and having a conductivity of 85% IACS or more as well as a tensile strength of 420 MPa or more when the nominal cross-sectional area is 110 mmor more and 150 mmor less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
