PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a sufficient amount of blown air at a centrifugal blower by making an appropriate relation of flow passage resistance between an indoor flowing passage and an outdoor flowing passage.SOLUTION: One-side suction type centrifugal blower (1) for a vehicle in accordance with one preferred embodiment of this invention shows a feature that outside air is introduced from at least one outside air introducing port (25) into an air feeding housing (21) and a ratio between a sectional area (E1) of an outdoor passing region measured at a position of a downstream side plane of a filter (35) housed in a filter housing part (36) when a bilayer flow mode where indoor air is fed from at least one of indoor air introduction ports (26, 27) is carried out and a sectional area (R1) of the indoor air passing region is substantially the same as that of a sectional area (E3) of a first air flow passage (18) and a sectional area (R3) of a second air flow passage (19) measured at a position of a discharging outlet (170) of a scroll housing (17).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
