PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault diagnosis device that corresponds to OBDII standards by a simple technique.SOLUTION: A fault diagnosis device comprises: first fault detection means for executing a process of detecting a fault in a device on the basis of information that indicates an operating state of the device and a first detection criterion; first abnormality determination means for executing a process of determining abnormality in the device on the basis of a fault detection process result of the first fault detection means and the first determination criterion; first abnormality output means for outputting abnormality notification indication to prescribed first abnormality notification means on the basis of an abnormality determination process result of the first abnormality determination means; second fault detection means for executing a process of detecting a fault in the device on the basis of information that indicates the operating state of the device and OBDII standards; second abnormality determination means for executing a process of determining the abnormality in the device on the basis of the fault detection process result of the second fault detection means and the OBDII standards; and second abnormality output means for outputting abnormality notification indication to the second abnormality notification means that corresponds to the OBDII standards on the basis of the abnormality determination process result of the second abnormality determination means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
