PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of an internal combustion engine which suppresses power consumption for driving a waist gate valve low as much as possible, can prevent noise generation or deterioration due to abutment with other members such as the waist gate valve and can improve acceleration responsibility.SOLUTION: A controller of an internal combustion engine is provided with a motor 31 for driving a WG valve (waist gate valve) 14, presets a target opening WGCMD of the WG valve 14 in accordance with a driving state of an internal combustion engine 1 (Step 5 of Fig. 5) and electricity conduction of the motor 31 is controlled and thereby valve opening WGO of the WG valve 14 is controlled (Fig. 5). During starting of the internal combustion engine 1 or during an operation in which the target opening WGCMD is preset in a whole closure opening, an electricity conduction duty ratio Iduty of the motor 31 is controlled to a prescribed value IdSTR which can press the WG valve 14 against a whole closure position (Step 4) and, in a stop state of the internal combustion engine 1, the WG valve 14 is moved to the whole closure position and thereafter the electricity conduction of the motor 31 is stopped (Steps 15, 13).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】ウェイストゲート弁を駆動するための消費電力を可能な限り抑制し、ウェイストゲート弁の他の部材との当接による雑音の発生や劣化を防止でき、加速応答性を向上させることができる内燃機関の制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明による内燃機関の制御装置は、WG弁(ウェイストゲート弁)14を駆動するモータ31を備え、内燃機関1の運転状態に応じてWG弁14の目標開度WGCMDを設定し(図5のステップ5)、モータ31の通電を制御することによって、WG弁14の弁開度WGOを制御する(図5)。内燃機関1の始動中又は目標開度WGCMDが全閉開度に設定された運転中には、モータ31の通電デューティ比IdutyをWG弁14を全閉位置に押付け可能な所定値IdSTRに制御し(ステップ4)、内燃機関1の停止状態では、WG弁14を全閉位置に駆動した後にモータ31の通電を停止する(ステップ15、13)。【選択図】図6
