PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an appearance quality of an interior material having such a configuration that a pad is fitted in a recess of a base material.SOLUTION: A pad 9 is so accommodated in a recess 7a of a base material 7 as to be fitted therein. An inside wall 7a2 of the recess 7a of the base material 7 is inclined in a tapered shape for die cutting when molding. The pad 9 is formed in such a manner that a polyurethane foam blank is cut at a right angle with respect to a lower wall 9a and an upper wall 9b, and a contour shape thereof is substantially coincident with a contour shape of an opening side of the recess 7a. The pad 9 is provided with a lightened portion 9d near an outer wall 9c. When the pad is accommodated in the recess 7a, the pad is deformed in such a manner that the outer wall 9c is pressed onto the inside wall 7a2 of the recess 7a, and the lightened portion 9d is collapsed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8

    【課題】基材の凹部にパッドを嵌め込む構成の内装材の外観品質を向上させる。【解決手段】基材7の凹部7aにパッド9を嵌め込むようにして収容する。基材7は、凹部7aの内側壁7a2が成形時の型抜きのためにテーパ状に傾斜している。パッド9は、ポリウレタンフォームの素材を下壁9a及び上壁9bに対して直角に切断したもので、外形の形状を凹部7aの開口側の外形の形状と略一致させている。パッド9は、外側壁9cの近傍に肉抜き部9dを設けてあり、凹部7aに収容したときに、外側壁9cが凹部7aの内側壁7a2に押圧され、肉抜き部9dが潰されるようにして変形する。【選択図】図8
