PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit abnormality detection device of a vehicle which discriminates and can detect circuit abnormality such as power source leakage, earth leakage and disconnection, between circuits having different voltages of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A circuit abnormality detection device of a vehicle includes: a light-emitting element which is provided on a high voltage circuit side and outputs emission light according to a voltage of the high voltage circuit; a light-receiving element which is provided on a low voltage circuit side, has a frequency band corresponding to the light-emitting element, and receives the emission output from the light-emitting element; and classification means which classifies the circuit abnormality into a plurality of circuit abnormalities including power source leakage, earth leakage and disconnection based on the emission output received by the light-receiving element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
