PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To displace a position adjusting mechanism in a smaller space.SOLUTION: A tip end of a rack shaft 13 is coupled to a coupling plate 9 with coupling portions 17A and 17B. Concerning an assembling order of the coupling portions 17A and 17B, while a nut member 31 is screwed with a male screw portion 13a of the rack shaft 13, the male screw portion 13a is inserted in through-holes 9a and 9b of the coupling plate 9. While the coupling members 29 and 29B are inserted in the through-holes 9a and 9b from the opposite side to the nut member 31 with the coupling plate 9 as boundary, female screw portions 29c and 29Bc of the coupling members 29 and 29B are screwed with the male screw portion 13a. Finally, the bolt 33 is screwed and fastened with the female screw portions 29c and 29Bc of the coupling members 29 and 29B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】より小さなスペースに位置調整機構を配置できるようにする。【解決手段】ラックシャフト13の先端を、連結部17A,17Bによって連結プレート9に連結する。連結部17A,17Bの組み付け順序は、ラックシャフト13の雄ねじ部13aにナット部材31を螺合させた状態で、雄ねじ部13aを連結プレート9の貫通孔9a,9bに挿入する。連結プレート9を境にしてナット部材31と反対側から連結部材29,29Bを貫通孔9a,9bに挿入しながら、連結部材29,29Bの雌ねじ部29c,29Bcを雄ねじ部13aに螺合させる。最後にボルト33を連結部材29,29Bの雌ねじ部29c,29Bcに螺合締結する。【選択図】図3
