PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for preventing a state where a radio communication with other equipment is disabled.SOLUTION: Radio equipment comprises: a volatile storage part for storing a key ID of a present generation and a key ID of a next generation; a non-volatile storage part for storing any one of the multiple key IDs as storage information; a restoration part 37 by which, when the volatile storage part is reset, the storage information is restored in the volatile storage part as a new key ID of the present generation; a first update part 35 which stores the key ID of the next generation in the non-volatile storage part based on timing in which data for electronic signature of the present generation are switched to data for electronic signature of the next generation, resets the volatile storage part thereafter, thereby causing the restoration part 37 to restore the storage information in the non-volatile storage part in the volatile storage part as a new key ID of the present generation, and updates the key ID of the present generation with the key ID of the next generation; and a second update part 36 by which, after the first update part 35 updates the key ID of the present generation, a key ID indicating data for electronic signature available in or after the next generation is stored in the non-volatile storage part as storage information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
