PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object moving apparatus capable of suppressing tilting of an object to be moved.SOLUTION: An object moving apparatus D includes an object 1 to be moved, a cable 2, a drum member 3, a driving source 4, and a base member 5. The base member 5 includes a guide rail part 51 guiding the object 1 to be moved in a lengthwise direction D1, direction switching parts 52a, 52b, and a drum member storage part 53. The guide rail part 51 includes a protruded strip part 51a on which the object 1 to be moved slides while being engaged, and a base member-side engaging part 51b extending almost in parallel with the protruded strip part 51a. The object 1 to be moved includes a guided part 14 engaged with and guided by the protruded strip part 51a, and an object-side engaging part 15 engaged with the base member-side engaging part 51b for preventing tilting of the object 1 to be moved with regard to a direction of movement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
