PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing railroad vehicle structure capable of suppressing formation of an intermetallic compound while performing joining of different kinds of metal such as aluminum alloy and stainless steel by a method other than adhesion by adhesive agent.SOLUTION: In an arrangement step, aluminum alloy of a roof body structure 10A and stainless steel of a side body structure 20 or the like are disposed to be confronted with each other, such that the aluminum alloy of the roof body structure 10A is located on the side closer than the stainless steel of the side body structure 20 or an end body structure to a heat source. In a joining step, while not allowing the stainless steel of the side body structure 20 or the like to be molten by the heat source, by allowing the aluminum alloy of the roof body structure 10A and a brazing filler metal to be molten by the heat source, the aluminum alloy of the roof body structure 10A and the stainless steel of the side body structure 20 or the like are brazed. Maximum arrival temperature of the stainless steel during the jointing is suppressed, while performing joining of different kinds of metal such as the aluminum alloy and the stainless steel by a method other than adhesion by adhesive agent, formation of an intermetallic compound can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】接着剤による接着以外の手法でアルミニウム合金とステンレス鋼との異種金属の接合を行いつつ金属間化合物の形成を抑制することができる鉄道車両構体の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】配置工程では、熱源に対して屋根構体10Aのアルミニウム合金が側構体20又は妻構体のステンレス鋼よりも近い側に位置するように、屋根構体10Aのアルミニウム合金と側構体20等のステンレス鋼とが重ね合されつつ配置され、接合工程では、熱源により側構体20等のステンレス鋼を溶融させないようにしつつ、熱源により屋根構体10Aのアルミニウム合金とろう材とを溶融させることにより、屋根構体10Aのアルミニウム合金と側構体20等のステンレス鋼とがろう付けされる。接合中のステンレス鋼の最高到達温度が抑制され、接着剤による接着以外の手法でアルミニウム合金とステンレス鋼との異種金属の接合を行いつつ金属間化合物の形成を抑制できる。【選択図】図3
