PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire ground contact state measurement device that can prevent damage of a measurement sheet for measuring a ground contact state of a tire even at a time of a high load.SOLUTION: A tire ground contact state measurement device comprises: a travelling surface 1; a tire driving device 2 that brings a tire T into ground contact with the travelling surface 1, and causes the tire T to roll; a measurement-purpose sheet 3 that is placed in a partial area of the travelling surface 1, and is for measuring a ground contact state of the tire T; a protection sheet 4 that covers the measurement-purpose sheet 3; and a back/forth tension addition mechanism 5 that applies tension along a tire onward movement direction MD to the protection sheet 4. The back/forth tension addition mechanism 5 has a back/forth tension adjustment mechanism that adjusts the tension along the tire onward movement direction MD so that the protection sheet 4 cancels out force to be received from the tire T along the tire onward movement direction MD.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2B
