PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make disconnection of a switch faster than the conventional one.SOLUTION: A power supply controller controlling a power supply device that supplies power of a battery pack to an inverter via a main contactor and a sub contactor opened/closed by applying driving currents S3, S6 to exciting coils L1, L2 includes driving circuits 9A, 9B that supply the driving currents S3, S6 to the exciting coils L1, L2, and a battery ECU that detects an overvoltage of the battery pack, and on the basis of this detection result, generates first control signals S1, S4 and second control signals S2, S5 to be supplied to the driving circuits 9A, 9B. The driving circuits 9A, 9B include a drive transistor 9c that switches between application and non-application of the driving currents by opening/closing on the basis of the first control signals S1, S4, and a power consumption circuit C that consumes counter electromotive forces of the exciting coils L1, L2 on the basis of the second control signals S2, S5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
