PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle electronic mirror capable of allowing a driver to obtain distance perspective by giving depth to display image similar to a conventional mirror type as well as allowing a presbyopic driver who can hardly see near points to see images without burden.SOLUTION: The vehicle electronic mirror has a convex lens which is disposed at a distance shorter than a focus distance in front of a display element of an image display apparatus thereof to display virtual images at a depth in the display device. Or, using a concave mirror together with a conventional inside mirror, and behind the same, a display element is disposed at a distance shorter than the focus distance to display virtual images at a depth of the concave mirror. By setting the depth of virtual images similar to the depth of the image of a mirror type rearview mirror, the image has little difference from that of the mirror type in appearance as well as allowing a presbyopic driver who can hardly see near points to see images without burden.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
【課題】 自動車用電子ミラーにおいて従来の鏡式と類似した表示像の奥行を与えることで距離感を得やすくし、かつ近点の見づらい老眼の運転者も負担なく像が見られるようにする。【解決手段】 自動車用電子ミラーの画像表示装置の表示素子の手前に、凸レンズをその焦点距離よりも短い距離に配置し、表示装置の奥に虚像を表示する。もしくは従来の鏡式インサイドミラーを凹面鏡とし、その後方に焦点距離よりも短い距離に表示素子を配置し、凹面鏡の奥に虚像を表示する。虚像の奥行を鏡式後写鏡の像の奥行と同様にすれば、鏡式の見え方との差が少なく、また近点の見づらい老眼の運転者にも見やすい。【選択図】図12
