PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save a weight of a vehicular latch device.SOLUTION: A vehicular latch device 1 comprises: an engaging member (hook 30) having engaging grooves (first engaging groove 34A, second engaging groove 34B) which can be engaged with a striker 4; a shaft member 53 which supports the engaging member; a first body 10 having a first support part which supports one end of the shaft member 53; and a second body 20 having a connection part (fitting hole 25) which is connected to the first body 10, and a second support part which supports the other end of the shaft member 53. The device is so configured that the engaging member can be rotated around the shaft member 53 between a first position at which the engaging member can be engaged with the striker 4 and a second position at which the engaging member can be departed from the striker 4. The first body 10 covers entry ports 38A, 38B of the engaging grooves, in which the striker 4 enters, from one side in an axial direction of the shaft member 53 in the state that the engaging member is positioned at the first position. The second body 20 does not cover the engaging groove from the other side in the axial direction, and exposes the whole of the engaging groove.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】乗物用ラッチ装置を軽量化する。【解決手段】ストライカ4に係合可能な係合溝(第1係合溝34A、第2係合溝34B)を有する係合部材(フック30)と、係合部材を軸支する軸部材53と、軸部材53の一端を支持する第1支持部を有する第1ボディ10と、第1ボディ10に連結された連結部(嵌合穴25)と、軸部材53の他端を支持する第2支持部とを有する第2ボディ20とを備え、係合部材がストライカ4に係合可能な第1位置とストライカ4から離脱可能な第2位置との間で軸部材53周りに回動可能に構成された乗物用ラッチ装置1である。第1ボディ10は、係合部材が第1位置にある状態において、係合溝のストライカ4が進入する進入口38A,38Bを軸部材53の軸方向における一方から覆う。第2ボディ20は、係合部材が第1位置にある状態において、軸方向の他方から係合溝を覆わずに、係合溝の全体を露出させる。【選択図】図4
