PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive turn-taking control device which can reduce an erroneous operation of a pedal immediately after drive turn-taking while maintaining a state that an override of a driver is possible, and a drive turn-taking control method.SOLUTION: In a vehicle A having an automatic drive function, an HCU 100 functions as a drive turn-taking control device for controlling drive turn-taking. Idle regions in which pedal-in operations are not reflected on a behavior of the vehicle A are set in an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal of the vehicle A. The HCU 100 indicates a driver to sequentially put a foot on the pedals in a drive turn-taking period, and acquires detection information indicating whether or not the driver puts the foot on these pedals. When it is determined that the foot of the driver is put on the indicated specified pedal, the HCU 100 permits the delivery of a control right to the driver. In addition to this, the HCU 100 maintains a state that the pedal-in operations exceeding the idle regions inputted to the pedals are reflected on the behavior of the vehicle A even in the drive turn-taking period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】運転者によるオーバーライドが可能な状態を維持しつつ、運転交代直後のペダルの誤操作を低減させることができる運転交代制御装置及び運転交代制御方法の提供。【解決手段】HCU100は、自動運転機能を備える車両Aにおいて、運転交代を制御する運転交代制御装置として機能する。車両Aのアクセルペダル及びブレーキペダルには、踏み込み操作が車両Aの挙動に反映されない遊び領域が設定されている。HCU100は、運転交代期間にて、各ペダルに順に足を置くよう運転者へ向けた指示を行わせ、これらのペダルに運転者が足を置いているか否かを示す検知情報を取得する。指示された特定ペダルに運転者の足が置かれたと判定された場合、運転者への制御権の引き渡しが許可される。加えてHCU100は、各ペダルに入力される遊び領域を超えた踏み込み操作が車両Aの挙動に反映される状態を運転交代期間においても維持させる。【選択図】図1
