PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorized aircraft and a method for controlling regenerative electric power of the motorized aircraft, that allow a path angle and a rate of descent to be controlled independently from speed by operating drag of a propulsion drive system and with good response.SOLUTION: A motorized aircraft 210 includes: a propeller or a fan 211 of a variable pitch for propulsion; an electric driving motor 213 which rotatably drives the propeller or the fan 211 and generates power according to rotation of the propeller or the fan 211; and a control part which causes the propeller or the fan 211 to rotate in the same rotational direction during power generation and during propulsion, and controls the propeller or the fan 211 during power generation so that its pitch angle β is smaller than during propulsion or so that its rotation frequency is lower than during propulsion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
