PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress the relative movement of the upper body of an occupant to the side with respect to a seat for vehicle at the time of vehicle collision with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An occupant restraint device 10 includes: a three-point type seat belt device 12 which restrains an occupant sitting on a seat for vehicle 16 with a shoulder belt part 30A and a lap belt part 30B of a seat belt 30; a belt member 46 which is arranged on a seat back 20 of the seat for vehicle 16 on the side opposite to the shoulder belt part 30A via the upper body of the occupant, and stretched between left and right side frames 24L, 24R of the seat back 20 in the slackening state so as to form a protrusion toward the seat rear side; and a take-up device 48 which takes up and pulls the belt member 46 to a take-up shaft 50 from one end part 46A side to reduce the slack of the belt member 46.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車両衝突時に乗員の上半身が車両用シートに対して側方に相対移動することを、簡素な構成で効果的に抑制する。【解決手段】乗員拘束装置10は、車両用シート16に着座した乗員を、シートベルト30のショルダベルト部30A及びラップベルト部30Bによって拘束する3点式シートベルト装置12と、乗員の上半身を介してショルダベルト部30Aとは反対側で車両用シート16のシートバック20に配設され、シートバック20が有する左右のサイドフレーム24L、24R間にシート後方側へ凸をなして弛んだ状態で架け渡されたベルト部材46と、ベルト部材46を一端部46A側から巻取軸50に巻き取って引っ張ることにより、ベルト部材46の弛みを減少させる巻取装置48と、を備えている。【選択図】図1
