PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique related to a vehicular power supply apparatus that includes a smoothing capacitor between a bidirectional DC-DC converter and an inverter, the technique for suppressing a voltage load applied to a load device by the power of the smoothing capacitor at the time of shorting failure between the positive poles of the low-voltage side and high-voltage side of the bidirectional DC-DC converter.SOLUTION: In a case where a temperature of a battery is equal to or lower than a given temperature (Yes for S12), with a voltage across terminals of smoothing capacitor equal to or higher than a given voltage (Yes for S14), a controller of a power supply apparatus starts ripple processing to warm the battery (S20).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
