PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer stopper which can absorb motion energy by a large reaction force before an end part of a cylinder part of a stopper main body contacts with an end face of an annular recess of a housing while a buffer body contacts with the housing and a shaft by a small reaction force without changing a size of the buffer stopper.SOLUTION: A buffer stopper comprises an annular stopper main body 31 which is arranged at one member 20 of two members which is relatively movable to an axial direction, and faces an end face 12 formed at the other member 10 of the two members in the axial direction, and a plurality of buffer bodies 34 which are arranged at an external periphery of the stopper main body 31. A plurality of the buffer bodies 34 are composed of rubber-shaped elastic bodies which are different in rigidity, and concentrically arranged. A plurality of the buffer bodies 34 protrude to an end face 12 side rather than a tip 32a which is directed toward the end face side of the stopper main body 31, and a protrusive end part 36a of a low-rigidity buffer body 36 protrudes to the end face 12 side rather than a protrusive end part 35a of a high-rigidity buffer body 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
