PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce preparation work, dispense with operation during work, and avoid danger such as an injury and accident and failure.SOLUTION: A mobile unit includes: a mobile body 100 working while moving on a travel face; and a support device 200 including a movement support part 250 arranged so as to move in a direction crossing a movement direction of the mobile body 100 and supporting movement of the mobile body 100. The mobile body 100 includes: an image processing section 151 detecting a state of a travel face; and a movement control section 152 controlling movement of the mobile body 100 according to a detected state of the travel face. The movement support section 250 includes: a traction wire connecting the movement support section 250 and mobile body 100 in a tensioned state; and a winch control section 253 controlling tension of the traction wire according to a movement propriety state of the mobile body 100 and a movement direction of the mobile body 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
