PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a water amount mixed in a lubrication oil of an engine more accurately.SOLUTION: When operating an engine, a water-amount increase-decrease amount is calculated by multiplying an operation continuation time of the engine to a water-amount increase-decrease speed obtained by using a relationship in which an absolute value of an inclination of a tendency that a water-amount increase-decrease speed decreases when a revolution speed of the engine increases and when a cooling water temperature of the engine is high in comparison with the case of the revolution speed being low and of the cooling water temperature being low. Whereas when motoring the engine with a motor, a water-amount increase-decrease amount is calculated by multiplying a motoring continuation time of the engine to a water-amount increase-decrease speed obtained by using a relationship in which a water-amount increase-decrease speed increases toward a decreasing side when a revolution speed of the engine is high and when a cooling water temperature of the engine is high in comparison with the case of the revolution speed being low and of the cooling water temperature being low. The calculated water-amount increase-decrease amount is added to or subtracted from a past water amount, thus determining a new water amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】エンジンの潤滑油に混入している水分量をより適正に推定する【解決手段】エンジンを運転しているときには、エンジンの回転数が大きいときには小さいときに比して、エンジンの冷却水温度が高いときには低いときに比して潤滑油に混入する水分増減速度が小さくなる傾向の傾きの絶対値が大きくなる関係を用いて得られる水分増減速度にエンジンの運転継続時間を乗じて水分増減量を計算し、エンジンをモータによりモータリングしているときには、エンジンの回転数が大きいときには小さいときに比して水分増減速度が減少側に大きくなり、且つ、エンジンの冷却水温度が高いときには低いときに比して水分増減速度が減少側に大きくなる関係を用いて得られる水分増減速度にエンジンのモータリング継続時間を乗じて水分増減量を計算する。計算した水分増減量をそれまでの水分量に増減して新たな水分量とする。【選択図】図2
