PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway vehicle power conversion device which enables each of a plurality of heat radiation fins to sufficiently deliver cooling (heat radiation) performance by effectively utilizing fresh air while a railway vehicle travels.SOLUTION: A power conversion device 100 (a railway vehicle power conversion device) comprises: one heat radiation fin 31 which radiates heat of a semiconductor device 20; and the other heat radiation fin 32 which is arranged with a predetermined distance from the one heat radiation fin 31 in a travel direction and radiates the heat of the semiconductor device 20. The power conversion device 100 also has a partition plate 50 which: is arranged in a space between the one heat radiation fin 31 and the other heat radiation fin 32 in a manner that connects one end section, or a vicinity thereof, of fin sections 31a of the one fin section 31 aligned in a direction perpendicular to the travel direction and the other end section, or the vicinity thereof, of the other heat radiation fin 32 aligned in the direction perpendicular thereto; and is adapted to separate air flowing through the one heat radiation fin 31 along the travel direction from the air flowing through the other heat radiation fin 32 along the travel direction while a railway vehicle 10 travels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】車両の走行時に新鮮外気を効率的に利用しながら、複数の放熱フィンの各々が有する冷却性能(放熱性能)を十分に発揮させることが可能な鉄道車両用電力変換装置を提供する。【解決手段】この電力変換装置100(鉄道車両用電力変換装置)は、半導体装置20の熱を放熱する放熱フィン31と、放熱フィン31に対して走行方向に所定の間隔を隔てて配置され、半導体装置20の熱を放熱する放熱フィン32と、を備える。さらに、電力変換装置100は、放熱フィン31と放熱フィン32との間において、放熱フィン31の走行方向と直交しフィン部分31aが並ぶ整列方向における一方側の端部またはその近傍と、放熱フィン32の上記整列方向における他方側の端部またはその近傍とを接続するように配置され、鉄道車両10の走行時に、放熱フィン31を走行方向に沿って通過する空気と放熱フィン32を走行方向に沿って通過する空気とを仕切るように構成された仕切り板50を備える。【選択図】図3
