PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic detector capable of reducing floor noise, strong against external noise, and capable of eliminating electric wiring of a moving part.SOLUTION: An electrostatic detector 1 includes an electrode 2 for electrostatic detection set at a stationary portion of a vehicle, and a conductor 3 set on a moving part, i.e., a window glass, and independent from the electrode 2. When a target 6 of charged material approaches the conductor 3, charges of opposite sign to that of charges of the charged material appear to the side of the conductor 3 close to the charged material, and charges of the same sign as that of charges of the charged material appear to the side of the conductor 3 remote from the charged material. Such a phenomenon is called electrostatic induction. The electrode 2 detects the target 6 indirectly, while detecting change in capacitance, incident to electrostatic induction occurring in the conductor 3, directly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】フロアノイズを小さくできるとともに、外来ノイズに強く、しかも、可動部の配線をなくすことを可能にした静電検出装置を提供すること。【解決手段】静電検出装置1は、車両の固定部に設定された静電検出用の電極2と、可動部である窓ガラスに設定され、該電極2とは独立した導電体3とを備えている。帯電物によるターゲット6が導電体3に接近すると、導電体3の帯電物に近い側には帯電物の電荷と反対符号の電荷が現れ、導電体3の帯電物から遠い側には帯電物の電荷と同符号の電荷が現れる現象が起こる。こうした現象は静電誘導と呼ばれる。電極2は、導電体3に生じる静電誘導に伴う静電容量の変化を直接検出しつつ、ターゲット6を間接的に検出する。【選択図】図1
