PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform processing of estimating a travel route with small processing load by associating a positioning point indicated by probe data with a reference point in a map.SOLUTION: A route identification device includes: a probe data reception part for receiving probe data which is a time-sequential travel trajectory of a travel terminal device from the travel terminal device; and a matching part for matching a route through which the travel terminal device is considered to have actually traveled in a different method which corresponds to a time cycle to generate the probe data. The matching part matches a positioning point included in the probe data to a reference point in a map and regards a road to which the reference point belongs as a part of a route through which the travel terminal device is considered to have actually traveled when the time cycle is shorter than a prescribed standard, while it matches the positioning point to the reference point and also matches a route through which the travel terminal device is considered to have actually traveled from a plurality of route candidates connecting among a plurality of reference points when the time cycle is longer than the prescribed standard.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】プローブデータが示す測位点を地図上の基準点に対応付け、移動経路を推定する処理を、高精度かつ低処理負担で実現する。【解決手段】本発明の経路同定装置は、移動端末装置の時系列の移動軌跡であるプローブデータを移動端末装置から受信するプローブデータ受信部と、プローブデータが生成される周期に対応した異なる方法で移動端末装置が実際に移動したと看做される経路をマッチングするマッチング部と、を備えることを特徴とする。マッチング部は、周期が所定の基準に比して短い場合は、プローブデータに含まれる測位点を地図上の基準点にマッチングし、基準点が属する道路を、移動端末装置が実際に移動したと看做される経路の一部とし、周期が所定の基準に比して長い場合は、測位点を基準点にマッチングし、かつ、複数の基準点間を結ぶ複数の経路の候補のうちから移動端末装置が実際に移動したと看做される経路をマッチングする。【選択図】図3
