PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery holding structure which enables improvement of power for holding a posture of a battery.SOLUTION: A vehicle battery holding structure 100 according to one embodiment of the invention includes a vehicle battery 104 and a battery tray 106 supporting the battery 104 from below. The vehicle battery holding structure 100 further includes: a rear surface support part 136 supporting a rear surface 122 of the battery 104 at a position separated from the battery tray 106 in an upward direction; and connection members 126a, 126b which connect the rear surface support part 136 with a predetermined vehicle body member (a hood lock member 128) forming a vehicle body of a vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
