PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional component fitting pedestal improved in both of durability to high speed and durability at the time of large deformation of a tire.SOLUTION: A functional component fitting pedestal includes: an opening part 11 which is fitted to the inner surface of a tire 30 and into or from which a fitting part 21 of a functional component 20 is inserted or detached; a housing recessed part 12 housing the fitting part 21 of the functional component 20; a bottom part 13 having a projecting part 15 projecting to a side of the opening part 11 and a fitting recessed part 16 formed on a side of the opening part 11 of the projecting part 15, and fixed to the inner surface of the tire 30; and a side wall part 14 connecting the bottom part 13 to the opening part 11. A rubber modulus constituting the bottom part 13 is set so as to be higher than a rubber modulus constituting the side wall part 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
