PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire rigidity test method for accurately evaluating the rigidity of a pneumatic tire.SOLUTION: A tire rigidity test method using an assembly 1 consisting of a wheel 3 having a rim part 3a and a pneumatic tire 4 mounted on the rim part 3a and controlled in a regular internal pressure comprises: an attaching step S2 of attaching the wheel 3 of the assembly 1 to the support shaft 5 of a rigid tester 2; a pressing step S3 of relatively moving the support shaft 5 toward a table 6 to press the pneumatic tire 4 of the assembly 1 against the table 6; a displacement applying step S4 of relatively displacing the table 6 pressing the pneumatic tire 4; a measurement step S5 of measuring a load F acting on the table 6 and a distance L between the table 6 and the rim part 3a; and a calculation step of calculating the rigidity of the pneumatic tire 4 from the measured load F and distance L.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】空気入りタイヤの剛性を精度よく評価するためのタイヤ剛性試験方法を提供する。【解決手段】リム部3aを有するホイール3と、リム部3aに装着されかつ規定の内圧に調節された空気入りタイヤ4とからなる組立体1を用いたタイヤ剛性試験方法である。組立体1のホイール3を、剛性試験機2の支持軸5に取り付ける取付工程S2と、支持軸5をテーブル6に向けて相対的に移動させ、組立体1の空気入りタイヤ4をテーブル6に押し付ける押圧工程S3と、空気入りタイヤ4が押し付けられたテーブル6を相対的に変位させる変位付与工程S4と、テーブル6に作用する荷重F及びテーブル6とリム部3aとの間の距離Lを測定する測定工程S5と、測定された荷重F及び距離Lから、空気入りタイヤ4の剛性を求める計算工程とを含んでいる。【選択図】図1
