PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a worm wheel capable of suppressing deterioration of accuracy in flatness with respect to a circumferential direction of an outer peripheral surface of a tooth part and capable of suppressing deterioration of strength and durability, to provide an electric power steering device and to provide a manufacturing method of a worm wheel.SOLUTION: A worm wheel 24 includes: a sleeve 50; a tooth formation part 65 provided on an outer peripheral surface 54c of a second annular part 54 in the sleeve 50; and a tooth part 60 having a first thick wall part 63 provided on a first side surface 54a closer to a gate of injection moulding of the second annular part 54 and a second thick wall part 64 provided on a second side surface 54b on the opposite side from the first side surface 54a of the second annular part 54. Then, the outer peripheral surface 54c of the second annular part 54 is provided flat with respect to the circumferential direction, and on both side surfaces 54a, 54b of the second annular part 54, engagement holes 57, 58 having depth in the axial direction are provided respectively. Also, the thick wall parts 63, 64 are engaged with engagement holes 57, 58 through engagement protrusions 67, 68 respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】歯部の外周面の周方向に対する平坦性の精度の低下を抑えつつ、強度及び耐久性の低下を抑えられるウォームホイール、電動パワーステアリング装置、及び、ウォームホイールの製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】ウォームホイール24は、スリーブ50と、スリーブ50において、第2環状部54の外周面54c上に設けられた歯形成部65、第2環状部54の射出成形のゲート寄りの第1側面54a上に設けられた第1肉厚部63、及び、第2環状部54の第1側面54aとは反対側の第2側面54b上に設けられた第2肉厚部64を有する歯部60とを備えている。そして、第2環状部54の外周面54cは、周方向に対して平坦に設け、第2環状部54の両側面54a,54bには、軸方向に深さを有する各係合穴57,58を設けるようにした。また、各肉厚部63,64は、各係合突起67,68を通じて各係合穴57,58に係合するようにした。【選択図】図4
