PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation transmission mechanism capable of achieving a bicycle, etc. better than a conventional one in usability.SOLUTION: A rotation transmission mechanism 1A includes an internal rotation member 3 put on a crank shaft 2 of a bicycle, and an external rotation member 4 rotatably disposed to the internal rotation member 3. The internal rotation member 3 includes a disc-shaped internal rotation member body 3a having a crank shaft insertion hole, and five outer peripheral convex parts 3f formed integrally with the internal rotation member body 3a that project on the outer peripheral side of the internal rotation member body 3a. The external rotation member 4 includes an annular part rotatably disposed to the internal rotation member 3 outside the outer peripheral convex parts 3f, and five inner peripheral convex parts 4d formed integrally with the annular part so as to project to the inner peripheral side of the annular part, which are arranged alternately with the outer peripheral convex parts 3f. Elastic deformation parts 6A are disposed between the outer peripheral convex parts 3f and the inner peripheral convex parts 4d on the rotation direction side of the outer peripheral convex parts 3f in advancing.     【課題】従来よりも使用性に優れた自転車等を実現することが可能な回転伝達機構を提供する。【解決手段】回転伝達機構1Aは、自転車のクランク軸2に挿通される内部回転部材3と、内部回転部材3に回動自在に配設される外部回転部材4と、を備えている。内部回転部材3は、クランク軸挿通孔を有する円盤状の内部回転部材本体3aと、内部回転部材本体3aに一体形成され内部回転部材本体3aの外周側に突出する5つの外周凸部3fと、を備えている。外部回転部材4は、外周凸部3fの外側で内部回転部材3に回動自在に配設された円環部と、前記円環部の内周側に突出するように前記円環部に一体形成され外周凸部3fと交互に配置された5つの内周凸部4dと、を備えている。外周凸部3fと前進する際の外周凸部3fの回転方向側の内周凸部4dとの間に弾性変形部6Aが配設されている。弾性変形部6Aは、部分的に空間6aが形成されている。【選択図】図10
