PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection accuracy of a target.SOLUTION: A radar device according to an embodiment calculates an angle of a target on the basis of the phase difference between reception signals obtained by receiving a reflection wave from the target with a plurality of reception antennas. The radar device includes a transmission unit, a calculation unit, a first determination unit, and a second determination unit. The transmission unit alternately transmits a first transmission wave and a second transmission wave having different beam patterns. The calculation unit calculates reception levels of the respective first transmission wave and second transmission wave and an estimated angle where the target is estimated to be situated on the basis of reception signals of a reflection wave of the first transmission wave and a reflection wave of the second transmission wave. The first determination unit determines accuracy of level difference on the basis of comparison of the level difference between the reception levels calculated by the calculation unit with a reference value of the level difference previously associated with the estimated angle. The second determination unit determines if the target is situated in the estimated angle on the basis of the determination result by the first determination unit and the reception level due to the first transmission wave.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】物標の検知精度を向上させること。【解決手段】実施形態に係るレーダ装置は、物標からの反射波を複数の受信アンテナで受信した受信信号間の位相差に基づいて物標の角度を算出するレーダ装置であって、送信部と、算出部と、第1判定部と、第2判定部とを備える。送信部は、ビームパターンがそれぞれ異なる第1送信波および第2送信波を交互に送信する。算出部は、第1送信波による反射波および第2送信波による反射波の各受信信号に基づき、第1送信波および第2送信波によるそれぞれの受信レベルと、物標が存在すると推定される推定角度を算出する。第1判定部は、算出部によって算出された受信レベル同士のレベル差と、推定角度に予め対応付けられたレベル差の基準値との比較に基づき、レベル差の確度を判定する。第2判定部は、第1判定部の判定結果と、第1送信波による受信レベルとに基づき、推定角度における物標の存否を判定する。【選択図】図5
