PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device which can perform the fault diagnosis of the internal self-device.SOLUTION: The communication device includes: a connector to which a communication line is connected in order to transmit and receive a control signal related to charge control between transport equipment and a charging station 2; a modem which outputs a modulation signal, obtaining by modulating information for transmission, and demodulates the input modulation signal; and a first internal communication line for transmitting the modulation signal and a second internal communication line for receiving the modulation signal, which are connected to the connector and the modem, respectively, so as to transmit and receive the modulation signal by superposing the modulation signal with the control signal. The modem, which outputs a communication beacon signal, includes: a branch line which branches on the halfway of the second internal communication line; a detection circuit which detects the beacon signal transmitted to the branch line through the first internal communication line, the connector and the second internal communication line; and a control unit which diagnoses a fault in the self-device, on the basis of the signal obtained by the detection by the detection circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】自装置内部の故障診断を行うことができる通信装置を提供する。【解決手段】通信装置は、輸送機器及び充電スタンド2の間で充電制御に係る制御信号を送受信するための通信線が接続されるコネクタと、送信する情報を変調した変調信号を出力すると共に入力された変調信号を復調するモデムと、それぞれがコネクタ及びモデムに接続され、変調信号を送信するための第1内部通信線及び変調信号を受信するための第2内部通信線とを備え、制御信号に変調信号を重畳させることによって変調信号を送受信する。モデムは、通信用のビーコン信号を出力しており、第2内部通信線の途中で分岐する分岐線と、第1内部通信線、コネクタ及び第2内部通信線を経由し、分岐線へ伝送したビーコン信号を検波する検波回路と、検波回路が検波して得た信号に基づいて、自装置の故障を診断する制御部とを備える。【選択図】図1
