PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a rubber composition for a tire in which high mileage, wear resistance and wet grip performance are improved in a well-balanced manner.SOLUTION: A production method of a rubber composition for a tire comprising a rubber component, a silane coupling agent, silica having a BET specific surface area of 210 cm/g or more, a vulcanization accelerator and a vulcanizing agent is provided, and the method includes: a base kneading step of kneading the rubber component, the silane coupling agent and the silica, then supplying the vulcanization accelerator and further kneading; and a finish kneading step of supplying the vulcanizing agent to the kneaded material obtained in the base kneading step, and further kneading. In the base kneading step, the kneaded material after kneading the rubber component, the silane coupling agent and the silica has a pH of 6.5 or less; and the kneaded material after kneading the vulcanization accelerator has a pH of 8.0 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
