PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object recognition processor capable of correctly recognizing a distance between an own vehicle and a peripheral object and a location of the peripheral object in comparison with a conventional object recognition processor.SOLUTION: An object recognition processor 1 includes: an object amalgamation processing part 6 for amalgamating detection information signals of an object around a vehicle detected by a plurality of object detection parts 3, 4 and outputting them as an object amalgamation signal; a same object amalgamation result combination candidate selection processing part 7 for selecting candidates of object amalgamation signals for a combination of object amalgamation signals; a same object amalgamation result combination determination processing part 10 for determining whether or not the selected combination of object amalgamation signals matches the same object; and a same object amalgamation combination integrating processing part 11 for recognizing the object around the vehicle on the basis of the determination result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 この発明は、従来の物体認識処理装置と比べて、自車両と周辺物体との距離および当該周辺物体の位置を正確に認識することができる物体認識処理装置を提供するものである。【解決手段】 本発明に係る物体認識処理装置1は、複数の物体検出部3,4で検出した車両周辺の物体の検出情報信号を融合し、物体融合信号として出力する物体融合処置部6と、物体融合信号の組合せのため、物体融合信号の候補を選択する同一物体融合結果組合せ候補選択処理部7と、選択された物体融合信号の組合せが、同一の物体のものであるか否かを判定する同一物体融合結果組合せ判定処理部10と、その判定結果に基づいて、車両周辺の物体を認識する同一物体融合組合せ統合処理部11とを備えるものである。【選択図】 図1
