PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitance proximity sensor which can surely discriminate a human body and water from each other.SOLUTION: A controller 42 controls a high frequency signal Sso that the relation of V>V>Vwill be satisfied and discriminates proximity of a human body to a sensor electrode 22 and proximity of water to the sensor electrode 22 from each other if the relation of f>f>fis satisfied, when the resonant frequency of an LCR resonance circuit 20 is fand the determination voltage signal is Vin a case where the object is not in proximity to the sensor electrode 22, the resonant frequency of the LCR resonance circuit 20 is fand the determination voltage signal is Vin a case where the human body is in proximity to the sensor electrode 22, and the resonant frequency of the LCR resonance circuit 20 is fand the determination voltage signal is Vin a case where water is in proximity to the sensor electrode 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 人体と水の識別を確実に行うことができる静電容量式近接センサを提供する。【解決手段】 物体がセンサ電極22に近接していないときのLCR共振回路20の共振周波数をf1、判定電圧信号をV1とし、人体がセンサ電極22に近接したときのLCR共振回路20の共振周波数をf2、判定電圧信号をV2とし、水がセンサ電極22に近接したときのLCR共振回路20の共振周波数をf3、判定電圧信号をV3としたとき、f1>f2>f3の関係を有する場合、制御部42は、V2>V1>V3の関係を満たすように高周波信号S0を制御し、センサ電極22への人体と水の近接を識別する。【選択図】 図1
