PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device with which it is possible to detect the position of an object present on airport surface with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A monitoring device 4 comprises: a coordinate conversion unit 10 for converting the positioning coordinates of a target object to image coordinates; a sensor probability map generation unit 12 for calculating a sensor probability map that indicates the distribution of probability of each of the target object and background appearing in a two-dimensional image space on the basis of error distribution data that indicates the error distribution of detected positions by an airport surface detection sensor 2 and the image coordinates; a camera probability map generation unit 11 for calculating a camera probability map that indicates the distribution of probability of each of the target object and background appearing in the two-dimensional image space on the basis of a camera image; and an object detection unit 14 for execution segmentation to separate the camera image into a foreground region and a background region on the basis of a composite probability map obtained by synthesizing the sensor probability map and the camera probability map.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
