PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of reducing a possibility of interference among a plurality of structures constituting an underwater mooring structure.SOLUTION: This underwater mooring structure is provided with: a buoyant body that receives a prescribed buoyant force in water; an observation related device related to observation of an underwater environment; a first cable that is connected to the observation related device; a second cable that connects the buoyant body and the observation related device; a cut-off part that can cut off the first cable from a weight member installed on th water bottom; and a flow reception part having a flow receiving surface that receives a water flow during floating up in water. The flow reception part is present at a position where it is opened by a prescribed angle to the first cable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
