PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle knuckle manufacturing method that ensures satisfactory castability that achieves both casting of a knuckle that is able to restrict vibration transmission from a front wheel to a vehicle body and improvement in manufacturing efficiency, and to provide a knuckle.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method is for a knuckle 50 having: a bearing mounting part 51 on which a hub bearing is mounted; a damper sandwiching part 541 griping a damper; and a damper mounting arm 542 connecting the bearing mounting part 51 and the damper sandwiching part 541. The manufacturing method includes integrally casting, by use of one ring 130: a cylindrical opening S1, which is an inner space of the damper sandwiching part 541; a continuous hollow opening S2 formed in an inner space in a hollow part 544 of the damper mounting part 542 extending from the damper sandwiching part 541 in a closed cross-sectional form and also formed in the damper sandwiching part 541; and an arm opening S3 surrounded by a front arm part 545 and rear arm part 546 of the damper mounting arm part 542 extended from the hollow part 544.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11

    【課題】前輪から車体への振動伝達を抑制できるナックルの鋳造と、生産効率の向上とを両立した良好な鋳造性を確保できるナックルの製造方法、及びナックルを提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】ハブベアリングが取付けられるベアリング取付部51と、ダンパを把持するダンパ挟持部541と、ベアリング取付部51、及びダンパ挟持部541を連結するダンパ取付腕部542とを有するナックル50の製造方法であって、ダンパ挟持部541の内部空間である筒状開口部S1と、ダンパ挟持部541から閉断面形状で延設したダンパ取付腕部542の中空部544における内部空間、及びダンパ挟持部541に形成された開口が連続した中空開口部S2と、中空部544から延設されたダンパ取付腕部542の前方腕部545、及び後方腕部546で囲われた腕部開口部S3とを、1つの中子130によって一体的に鋳造することを特徴とする。【選択図】図11
