PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving characteristic storage device that highly accurately stores a distribution of driving data in accordance with locations.SOLUTION: A driving characteristic storage device comprises: a travelling section DB 25 that, when deviations of the driving data in a prescribed travelling section fall within a range of a preset threshold with respect to driving data expressing a driving state collected from a plurality of vehicles, assuming that the driving data within the prescribed travelling section is similar, stores a characteristic distribution serving as a distribution of the driving data in the travelling section for each travelling section similar in the driving data; a similarity level calculation unit 28 that calculates a similarity level among the characteristic distributions stored in the section DB; and a section integration unit/division unit 29 that, when the similarity level among the characteristic distributions calculated by the similarity level calculation unit 28 and associated with a plurality of different travelling sections is higher than a preset integrated threshold, integrates the plurality of different travelling sections into one travelling section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】場所に応じた運転データの分布を高精度に記憶する運転特性記憶装置を提供する。【解決手段】複数の車両から収集された運転状態を表す運転データに対して、所定の走行区間における運転データのばらつきが予め設定された閾値の範囲内に収まる場合に、所定の走行区間内の運転データが類似するとし、運転データが類似する走行区間ごとに、その走行区間内の運転データの分布である特性分布を記憶する走行区間DB25を備える。区間データベースに記憶されている特性分布同士の類似度を算出する類似度算出部28を備え、類似度算出部28により算出された、異なる複数の走行区間に対応付けられた特性分布同士の類似度が、予め設定された統合閾値よりも高い場合に、異なる複数の走行区間を統合して1つの走行区間とする区間統合部・分割部29を備える。【選択図】図1
