PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress variation in a steering angle due to steering that is not intended by a driver while a vehicle travels on a target travel track, in the vehicle in which steering reactive force to be exerted to the steering wheel in a direction to return the vehicle to the target travel track is increased proportionately as the vehicle departs farther from the target travel track.SOLUTION: A drive support method includes: increasing first steering reactive force to be exerted to a steering wheel 1a in a direction to return a vehicle to a target travel track proportionately, the vehicle including the steering wheel 1a and mechanically-separated steering-wheels 5FL and 5FR, as a departing amount of the vehicle departing from the target travel track increases (S6, S10); determining whether a driver has operated the steering wheel 1a; and increasing second steering reactive force to be exerted to the steering wheel 1a in a direction to return the steering operation of the driver thereafter (S6, S10, S23), in the case of determining that the driver has not operated the steering wheel 1a (S20, S21).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】目標走行軌道から離れるほど車両を目標走行軌道に戻す方向へステアリングホイールに付与する操舵反力を増加させる車両において、車両が目標走行軌道上を走行している間の運転者が意図しない操舵による操舵角の変動を抑制する。【解決手段】運転支援方法では、機械的に切り離された操向輪5FL、5FRとステアリングホイール1aとを有する車両が目標走行軌道から外れる逸脱量が増加するほど、車両を目標走行軌道に戻す方向へステアリングホイール1aに付与する第1操舵反力を増加させる(S6、S10)。そして、運転者によるステアリングホイール1aの操舵操作の有無を判断する。運転者によるステアリングホイール1aの操舵操作が無いと判断した場合(S20、S21)、その後の運転者による操舵操作を戻す方向へステアリングホイール1aに付与する第2操舵反力を増大させる(S6、S10、S23)。【選択図】図1
